The spacious rooms provided ample comfort during my stay.
The room's furniture and overall maintenance felt outdated and tired. Despite the competitive pricing, the lack of modern amenities was disappointing. I noticed a decline in the quality of the room amenities, which was surprising given the hotel’s previous standards.

A quiet escape with friendly staff
The spacious room made for a comfortable stay, complemented by a delicious breakfast that started each day on a high note. The staff's warmth added to the welcoming atmosphere, always on hand to assist.
The noise from adjacent rooms and the street made it hard to find solace. A lack of basic amenities like a coffee station in the room felt like an oversight.

I really liked the spacious room at the Courtyard in Johannesburg. It came with a small kitchenette, perfect for prepping snacks. cleanliness wasn’t up to standard. there were hairs left on the bed and some dirt on the carpets. This wasn’t great when I first arrived. The staff addressed it quickly after my complaint, which I appreciated. Breakfast choices were decent but basic. it did the job to kickstart my day. The gym was a nice touch, although it could use more equipment. I felt safe since the hotel had strong security measures in place. The design of the rooms felt a bit outdated, and upgrades would definitely enhance the experience significantly. it’s a good spot but needs attention in a few areas.

The guest house had a great location near Sandton's center, and the staff was consistently friendly and attentive. The small gym was a convenient feature, but attention to detail in room maintenance is needed as some amenities felt outdated. it was a pleasant stay with a lovely garden area.
